Our History
Founded in 1963 in the city of Joinville, Santa Catarina, Schulz S.A. has evolved
from a small foundry to one of the country’s most important metallurgical companies.
A benchmark in manufacturing air compressors and auto parts, it employees thousands
of workers both in Brazil as well as in its international operations.
In the compressor market, Schulz has been present since 1972 with a broad product line including diaphragm, piston, screw and scroll compressor models. A global provider of compressed air systems solutions, it is the leader in all of Latin America and its representatives operate in more than 70 countries.
In 1980, Schulz won the first supply contracts from domestic automakers. Today, it is responsible for developing and producing casted, machined parts as well as modules and sub-assemblies for the leading manufacturers of trucks, buses, implements, agricultural machinery and construction equipment.
After all its experience acquired in the automobile industry, Schulz created the first exclusive products for the aftermarket in 2012. In just a few years, its component lines for commercial vehicles began occupying a prominent place in distributors, auto parts stores and auto repair shops.
